“My father Saul Stern, enjoyed an exceptional 20 years of his life (the first 8 of them with my late mother Marcia) in his winter home at Hideaway Beach in Marco Island. Dad, as he did everywhere, built community through his love and respect for people and for the entry into all sorts of public affairs and personal connections that he gave– but when he passed away in the Spring of 2010 — we faced the reality that we needed to sell this beloved family home.
We came to Marco, interviewed several seller’s agents we had heard about, and into this most gloomy of sales seasons — we met and made our choice: Doug and Nicki Davis.
From the first, hard-driving and charming — we’ll tell you straight our vision of the real estate realities, we faced a number of difficult pricing decisions, slowly it went down, down, down (but never to the bottom all around us) as prospects slowly emerged.
